User Settings

Customize your personal profile, appearance preferences, and account security.

Overview

The User Settings page allows each team member to manage their individual preferences and account information. Access it from the sidebar navigation.

Profile Settings

Personal Information

Update your profile details:

Editable Fields:

  • First Name
  • Last Name

Read-Only Fields:

  • Email (managed by authentication system)
  • Role (set by team admins)

Updating Your Profile

  1. Navigate to Settings page
  2. Go to "Profile" section
  3. Modify your first or last name
  4. Click "Save Changes"

Appearance Settings

Theme Selection

Choose your preferred color scheme:

Available Themes:

  • Light - Bright, traditional appearance
  • Dark - Easy on the eyes in low light
  • System - Automatically matches your device settings

The theme applies immediately throughout the application.

Accent Color Customization

Personalize the app with your favorite color:

How to Change:

  1. Go to Appearance section
  2. Click on a color swatch
  3. Preview updates in real-time
  4. Click "Save Changes" to apply

The accent color affects:

  • Buttons and interactive elements
  • Links and highlights
  • Charts and graphs
  • Badge colors

Account Settings

Password Management

Update your account password for security:

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 characters
  • Confirmation field must match

Changing Your Password:

  1. Go to Account section
  2. Enter new password
  3. Confirm new password
  4. Click "Update Password"
  5. Sign in with new password on next login

Security Tips:

  • Use a strong, unique password
  • Don't share your password
  • Change periodically
  • Use a password manager

About Section

  • All features available on mobile
  • Touch-friendly interface
  • Same functionality as desktop

Privacy

Your settings are private:

  • Only you can see your password
  • Profile changes visible to team (name only)
  • Theme and accent color preferences are personal
  • No settings are shared with other teams

Tips

  • Choose System Theme - Automatically switches between light/dark
  • Pick Contrasting Accent - Ensure readability with your theme choice
  • Update Profile Promptly - Keep your name current for team roster
  • Strong Password - Protect your account and team data
  • Explore Colors - Try different accent colors to personalize experience
  • Check About Section - Find version info and report issues
